There are many things to do in Dorrigo and the sorrounding area's.

In Dorrigo you can visit the local National Parks, numerous art and craft galleries, enjoy some fishing or use the local sporting facilities.

There are many day trips to other National Parks such as Bongil Bongil and Cathederal Rock. It is also possible to venture to other townships such as Bellingen which sport monthly markets and popular annual events such as the Bellingen Jazz Festival.

There are also some local events including the Folk and Bluegrass Fastical in October and the Dorrigo Show in November.
